April 7 marks Austin’s 36th annual Capitol 10,000 race. While it’s probably too late to start training for this year’s Cap10K, check out these tips and tricks to get in shape for your next big race.
1. Visit your doctor to get cleared. It’s important that your body is in top shape before doing any strenuous physical activity. Before any warm-ups or stretches, have a full physical to ensure your body is in prime condition to take on a 6.2-mile run.
