UT students pride themselves on living in a city with such a thriving local music scene. What many students may not know is that the music they hear echoing out of restaurants, bars and venues around the city is often being made by their peers. Two student acts that have become a part of Austin’s music scene this past semester are the acoustic duo Jim Hampton and Chelsea Baskin, and the alternative rock band The Knowhow.
