It’s easy to succumb to the heat of the sun, to be utterly exhausted just by stepping outside and to feel like staying indoors on an average summer day in Central Texas.
And there is good reason — Austin has had several summers in the past few years with over 100-degree temperatures for more than 100 days straight without much rain. From June to late August, the sun beats down without mercy, making it undesirable to spend time outdoors.
